Indiana Department of Environmental Management
Approves technical and environmental aspects AIR, LAND, and Water.

The OEA receives approximately 300 petitions for administrative review each year. These are heard by one of the two environmental law judges employed by the agency. Some cases may involve multiple parties and a number of complex legal and technical issues that affect the entire state or regional environment and may take several years to resolve.

These fine folks will assist you in getting a hold of minutes of meetings and memoranda. Also they will let you know what is Public Access and what is not. Some meetings are not required to have minutes. Final printout of minutes may not be available for a long time. But, what about draft copies. Any document that is public access can have a copying charge not to exceed the actual cost of copying.

County Commissioners, Local City Board of Works, Local City Sanitation Manager, Local City Council, Local Highway Department, County Clerks Office, and anyone else’s ear you can bend.
